ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Marie Jean Davis has been writing since 2005 and has recently published all seven books in this paranormal and suspenseful series. The series explores theories of past lives, the supernatural, and mysterious events that make you question the true nature of life. Although fictional, Marie Jean believes many of these topics can support the soul's growth and expand consciousness, helping us on our earthly journey during our brief time on Earth. Before she started writing, she studied psychology at the University of Calgary and later developed her intuitive and psychic abilities as a medium. In this role, she has helped countless individuals find meaning and hope, including those struggling with depression. Now, she uses her special gift to glimpse the past and the future, which enriches her storytelling and brings clarity and depth to this series.
Marie Jean has also written two children’s books for her grandchildren, one of which her grandson thoroughly enjoyed helping with—the “Godzilla” book. Although the topic was not something Marie Jean would have chosen to write about, since Godzilla was not an enjoyable subject for her, it was a hit with her six-year-old grandson.
The first instalment in this series, Haunting Visions, is set in 2017, the present day. While a different kind of paranormal activity affects most of the book, it then focuses on using regressive hypnosis to uncover Jewel and, therefore, Marie Jean’s deepest secrets. The rest of the series takes place in the past, revealing Jewel’s many previous lives and the intrigue, mystery, and danger she faced.
